Portkey 1 : Introducing myself



Hey guys its me Poornima.  
You can call me poo or puru because I know most of you will eventually start thinking of a nickname for me because poornima is soo long to type!! Just made it easy for you guys.😉  

                      Welcome to my Travel blog!! I am a college student studying Microbiology who loves to travel and do it whenever possible so I shall be writing about all the places I 'll visit and i am so excited about this 🤗. I mostly travel like one day trips in and around Pune so that is what you will find here but hey I might surprise you sometimes with other destinations too,Fingers crossed ✌

                              Shoutout to all the Harry Potter fan!!🖐 I hope you got the meaning behind my blog name 😉 and as for others Apparate is a spell used for teleportation in the harry potter series [AWESOME right] so yeah I hope my posts or blog entries teleports you to the places I'll be visiting !! 😊😊

Portkey 5 - Dehugaon

I am not an atheist or anything but I dont really like going to temples !! I cant wrap my head around the idea of going to a specific temple to worship god, attain his blessings and stuff maybe because since childhood I was taught god is everywhere Nature is god's creation and I firmly believe in that, But this trip changed my Mind. A one day trip to Dehugaon made me realize that temples are not only about the stone Idols but about the atmosphere there as well . This scenic town of temples situated along the banks of holy Indrayani river was not only mesmerizing but had such good divine positive vibes that made my day. [I know this all sounds psychic but this is what i felt and I am still feeling] The temples in their own mysterious way soothes you, makes you feel positive and gives hope. Its kind of hard to explain it in words that is why I recommend everyone to visit this holy shektra I am sure you all must have heard about Dehugaon located near dehuroad in between Talawade...

Portkey 03 Kasarsai Dam

Kasarsai dam also called Kusgoan dam is literally the greatest dam I have been on [although it's a mini dam but still] and I have been to many dams!            I mean it ticks all the boxes ; its easy to find, less popular{I am a sucker for non- crowded places}, it's surrounded by mountains and greenary, there is Boating but thats not it, this is the only dam I have been to which allows people to stand on the dam wall !! You can actually go and stand on the wall which is properly secured and fenced so dont panic 😋 and watch as the water flows from the dam opening!! 😍😍 This was my first time standing on a dam and watching the water flow and it was thrilling!!            This is the nearest dam for us PCMC dwellers, its perfect for a one day picnic and its so close to the Shirgaon sai baba mandir which is very popular and sought after temple. The dam is just 6 kms away from sai baba temple and about 10 kms from hi...
