Portkey 4 : Tamini Ghat

When you talk about Pune in monsoon this place must have definitely come up!! Yup after years of listening all my friend's Omg you have never been to Tamini ghat conversations I finally went there!! And its totally worth the hype people! Tamini ghat is beutifull, it is a green paradise!!

Located roughly 60kms from pune these ghats which start near the mulshi dam are just mesmerizing!! The wavy windy roads through those high moutains offer you the view of greenery and waterfalls falling down mountains on one side and the view of cliffs, valley, the lovely mulshi lake and even more greenary on the other side!! The views make you want to stop your vehicles and keep staring at the sights!!

I went there on a college trip in a Volvo bus so the bad conditions of the road didnt affect me much but yeah if you are planning to travel on bikes or cars its going to be a bit difficult but trust me Tamini ghat is worth the whole drive!!

There is no specific points or specific "places you must see" here because the whole ride has great views and you will find waterfalls every ten minutes [ in the monsoon]!! Stop where you like and enjoy! Its that simple😊😊

Tht is not all that tamini offers guys, for the trekkers and hiking enthusiasts there is a hidden waterfall / lagoon called Devkund waterfalls located on the tamini ghat for which you need to hike in the green woods to reach!! Its very beutifull also difficult to find so you need to have a villager guide  take you to this waterfalls because it takes 3-4 hours walk in the woods to find them😱so yeah go with guides only!!
Also people who cant get enough of tamini ghat can be here for days because there are many resorts on the ghat where you can stay and relax in peace !!✌✌

This place is a must must visit on monsoon although because of the heavy rainfalls here, its best if u avoid this in june and visit it in late july, August and September!! There are two ways u can reach this ghat one is through the hinjewadi phase 3 route or through the somatne pirongout route depending on where you are coming from.

Basically if u want to enjoy monsoon in its glory Tamini ghat is the place you go!! 😍
Shout out to all the biologists, botanist and zoology enthusiasts this place is full of different variety of plants and animals species  so you can combine work and picnic and come here πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ or if you are a student like me, try asking your collage for a trip here [ it worked for me and my classmates πŸ˜‹ ]

ps ; most pics were taking from a moving bus so I am sorry guys if the quality was not upto the mark!! πŸ˜£πŸ˜£πŸ˜•

Portkey 5 - Dehugaon

I am not an atheist or anything but I dont really like going to temples !! I cant wrap my head around the idea of going to a specific temple to worship god, attain his blessings and stuff maybe because since childhood I was taught god is everywhere Nature is god's creation and I firmly believe in that, But this trip changed my Mind. A one day trip to Dehugaon made me realize that temples are not only about the stone Idols but about the atmosphere there as well . This scenic town of temples situated along the banks of holy Indrayani river was not only mesmerizing but had such good divine positive vibes that made my day. [I know this all sounds psychic but this is what i felt and I am still feeling] The temples in their own mysterious way soothes you, makes you feel positive and gives hope. Its kind of hard to explain it in words that is why I recommend everyone to visit this holy shektra I am sure you all must have heard about Dehugaon located near dehuroad in between Talawade...

Portkey 03 Kasarsai Dam

Kasarsai dam also called Kusgoan dam is literally the greatest dam I have been on [although it's a mini dam but still] and I have been to many dams!            I mean it ticks all the boxes ; its easy to find, less popular{I am a sucker for non- crowded places}, it's surrounded by mountains and greenary, there is Boating but thats not it, this is the only dam I have been to which allows people to stand on the dam wall !! You can actually go and stand on the wall which is properly secured and fenced so dont panic πŸ˜‹ and watch as the water flows from the dam opening!! 😍😍 This was my first time standing on a dam and watching the water flow and it was thrilling!!            This is the nearest dam for us PCMC dwellers, its perfect for a one day picnic and its so close to the Shirgaon sai baba mandir which is very popular and sought after temple. The dam is just 6 kms away from sai baba temple and about 10 kms from hi...
